SLAF fighter jets have launched successive air raids at 3 identified LTTE resistance positions located 7.5km Northeast of Akkarayankulama in Kilinochchi, Monday (Dec 1) at around 12.30p.m.
According to Air Force Spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, the air strikes were taken with precision assisting the advancing 57 Division troops.

SLAF MI-24 helicopter gunships conducted precision air assaults at identified LTTE resistance positions located at Murukandy, East of Akkarayankulama, Sunday (Nov 30) at around 7a.m.
The air sorties were made in support of the advancing 57 Division infantry battalions, Air Force Spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.
