There are reports tha the LTTE have already started to vacate its Elephant Pass camp. It is reported that the Sri Lanka Army’s Mechanized Infantry Division have started its operation in the region and are rapidly advancing further.

There are reports that Sri Lanka Army trrops have now started to march towards another LTTE bastian of Elephant Pass, after the historic victory in the LTTE’s capital Killinochchi. It is expected that the Elephant Pass will fall to Army within next 48 hours.
