ONE of the bunkers where LTTE terrorist leader PRABAKARAN is believed to have used to hide him self was found in the VISUAMADU jungle by the 57 Division troops Commanded by Major General JAGATH DIAS on Friday (30).

12 SLSR (12 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment) troops operating under the 572 Brigade recovered this underground bunker over which a luxurious house was built.

The way that this comfortable house and the underground bunker with full air-condition facility are made bears ample evidence what a luxurious life PRABAKARAN had been living while forcibly conscripted underage child soldiers suffer in the war front.

This is the first instance that troops found a domestic lift to move between a bunker and overhead construction.

A powerful soundproof generator which supplied power to this well – equipped house with bulletproof doors and to the bunker was also found from inside the house of LTTE.

Medical equipment used by diabetic patients found from the place were among the recovered items.
